Tom has delivered two superb talks at The Manor – the first on his breath-taking row across the Atlantic ocean and the second on his blistering Marathon Des Sables under the Moroccan sun. He has a wonderfully expressive delivery and totally captures the children's imaginations with his accounts of his extraordinary adventures and the way he overcomes the tribulations that beset him. The children certainly learn the meaning of the word ‘resilience’! He has a real skill in tailoring his talk to the age group and keeping them fully engrossed. His talks are enhanced by superb photographs and videos. I can thoroughly recommend him as a great speaker and a real-life adventurer!
